SUBJECT: Tuesday, 24 September Conference Call on AIDS Vaccines
Dear All,
The next conference call to continue our series on AIDS
vaccine development issues is scheduled for Tuesday, 24 September
1996, starting at 10:00 am EDT. The number to call into is 1 -800-403-1032, and the access code to dial is 512853. Council
members not on the Research Committee who wish to participate
should contact Mark Green of Social & Scientific Systems, Inc.
(SSS, 301-986-4870) so that sufficient telephone ports can be
reserved.
We have scheduled six outstanding and accomplished
individuals of diverse perspectives and experience who have
graciously made themselves available to provide us their brief
but candid assessments of the problems and obstacles for
development of a successful preventive AIDS vaccine. We have
invited them to advocate specific and concrete steps for
solutions to overcome these problems that the Council might
consider recommending to the President for Executive Branch
action.
