20 1 be accountability and that there be a champion of this, and 2 the selection of that person will probably make all the 3 difference in terms of whether it's just another committee 4 or whether it's actually a genuine effort to make the 5 President's commitment come true. 6 PARTICIPANT: Every time I hear you, I feel 7 better. 8 I want to raise this possibility. If what you 9 say is absolutely true, and I really believe it, this is 10 more than an ethical question. We are in the era now of 11 special counsels. This is a legal question, a 12 Constitutional question, I think. Here you have a 13 situation if, in fact, it can be absolutely proved in a 14 court of law, I would be amazed that someone from the 15 community who is suffering from this illness wouldn't bring 16 a class action suit to get all the facts out. Do you think 17 this is an approach? 18 DR. MANN: Well, you raised this earlier, and I 19 took your point very much about the need to constantly 20 evolve in order to remain true to oneself. That is, if the 21 advocacy of an issue is (inaudible), then you can't keep 22 (inaudible).
