We have booked nine outstanding and accomplished scientists willing and interested in providing us brief assessments of the problems and obstacles for development of a successful preventive AIDS vaccine from their differing perspectives and experience. We have invited them to advocate specific and concrete steps for potential solutions by Executive Branch action that the Council might consider recommending to the President. It is understood that last-minute events may preclude some from participating.
