Dear All,
The conference call to discuss AIDS vaccine development issues is scheduled for Thursday, 4
April 1996, starting at 9:30 am EST (6:30 am PST). The number to call into is 1-800-403-2028,
and the code to dial is 666583.
We have booked nine outstanding and accomplished scientists willing and interested in
providing us brief assessments of the problems and obstacles for development of a successful
preventive AIDS vaccine from their differing perspectives and experience. We have invited
them to advocate specific and concrete steps for potential solutions by Executive Branch action
that the Council might consider recommending to the President. It is understood that last-minute
events may preclude some from participating.
