We have completed processing, according to provisions of the PRA and FOIA, the approximately 6,000 pages of Presidential records, pertaining to AIDS policy in the Reagan administration, that are responsive to the second segment of your FOIA request. Of the subject records, the total number of pages restricted in whole or in part from access under each restriction category of the PRA or FOJA is as follows: P5 -236 pp.; P6- 1ipp.__ Some pages may be restricted under more than one category. A list of the PRA and FOIA se __ restriction categories is attached.40aa The remaining documents, approximately 5,700 pages, are open in whole to research (this eri includes 34 pages of document withdrawal forms). We will be happy to provide you with copies of the open and partially open records (approximately 5,800 pages) you have requested __ upon receipt of the reproduction fee of 25 cents per page. If you wish to order copies, please call or write Diane Barric (800,-4,10-8354, cxt.2039) of our staf tomkearngmnt.O you may view the documents in our research room at the Library, where a self-service copier is available for the price of 10 cents per page. Checks or money orders should be made out to the National Archives Trust Fund, and the Library will also take Visa or Master Card orders. You have the right to file an administrative appeal of any Presidential record properly restricted under 44 U.S.C. 2204 (a)(b) or 5 U.S.C. 552. the appeal must be submitted in writing to the Director, Ronald Reagan Library, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley, CA 93065. Both the letter and the envelope should be clearly marked "PRA/FOIA Appeal". You have 35 calendar days from the date of this letter to file your appeal.
