BRODER: I think what I'm going to say 5 is inherent in your presentation, but I would hope and 6 advocate for paying special attention to HLA in 7 various individuals and to recognize at least the 8 possibility based on the precedents in many settings 9 of the concept of immune response genes and the 10 special role that HLA-related immune response genes 11 may, in fact, play in murine models of retroviruses, 12 that we keep open the possibility that there may be 13 different vaccines that would work, depending on what 14 the HLA type or the immune response gene complement is 15 of a given individual and that among the things that 16 we think about is to at least try to have those data 17 available and to keep open the possibility that in 18 some future time, you would be able to fine-tune 19 vaccines, especially for retroviruses, not just in a 20 general sense, but to develop the HLA profile of an 21 individual and then say, "Well, Vaccine X would be 22 better for you" or "Vaccine Y would be better for NEAL R.
