Can 4 we take that information and really put it in a 5 meaningful path that all of us can agree on? 6 Well, finally, let me make my own comments 7 with regard to post-exposure vaccination, which we 8 have been discussing today. Clearly, there are a 9 number of challenges here. You have heard some of 10 these points already expressed, and I won't belabor 11 them. 12 The issue of precedent is important. The 13 issue of how to obtain surrogate markers is important. 14 I'm impressed with the fact that there are plenty of 15 ongoing and planned studies that should be evaluated 16 before making decisions about going on for large-scale 17 trials. 18 Some of you may prefer that as a question, 19 rather than a statement. In my opinion, there is a 20 lot of data to sift through even here that may guide 21 us into the best way to approach large-scale studies. 22 And, finally, what I would like to say is NEAL R.
