3 sole immunogen, to my knowledge.

5 I would like to now introduce Dr. Dani
6 Bolognesi, who is the co-chair of the NIAID vaccine
7 working group, to present the goals and objectives of
8 the working group, which I think might as these
9 deliberations go on have some relevance to the
10 discussions about how we evaluate from a scientific
11 standpoint vaccines and their relevance to proceeding
12 to further trials and advanced Phase II or Phase III.

16 DR. BOLOGNESI: May I have the first
17 slide, please? I think it's fairly clear from the
18 discussions that we're having today that the
19 development of an HIV vaccine, whether it be for
20 seronegatives or for seropositives, is really at a
21 crossroads.
