1 My first question is: I would like to know why you
2 were not with Dr. Redfield and Dr. Berkeley's
3 presentation covering the data in order for mutual
4 analysis.
5 DR. COREY: I am at the request of Dr.
6 Carpenter, Dr. Fauci, Drs. Healy and Kessler. I was
7 asked to please do this. So I have to defer the
8 question. I have been doing what I was asked to do.
9 MR. VOLVOVITZ: Secondly, Larry, I have a
10 little bit of a problem with your SCID mouse study.
11 Following the results that we reported with Dr.
12 Mosier, the NIAID ADBG conducted two
13 placebo-controlled double blind studies at great
14 expense to the NIH in an effort to duplicate these
15 observations. In two studies, the studies failed to
16 confirm in any way the observations that we reported
17 with Dr. Mosier.
18 In addition to that, the new report on
19 vaccinia findings followed by gp 160, is discordant
20 with two studies, two double blind, four-arm studies
21 conducted by the ADBG, where they compared two shots
22 of vaccinia, vaccinia followed by gp 160, gp 160
