3 in the Phase I trial, which is not designed to answer
4 the comparative question, at least in my opinion, this
5 is a potential explanation that needs to be thought
6 about with respect to the interpretation for what I
7 would assume is over-interpretation by others, and

10 DR. COREY: So as far as the baculovirus
11 gp 160 HIV seropositives, with multiple doses, one can
12 elicit new humeral antibody responses to HIV envelope
13 peptides that are transient that do differ between
14 people and doses.
15 Little data exists on the ability of these
16 vaccines to alter in vivo functional antibodies. Dr.
17 Redfield did present in the article that four or five
18 patients increased their neutralizations of various
19 prototype strains, but that's only a small subset and
20 wasn't at least presented as to how they were
21 selected.
