1 CO-CHAIRMAN FAUCI: Thank you very much,
2 Dan. What we'd like to do is, rather than have
3 discussion after each presenter, since the talks
4 really do interrelate with each other, if anyone has
5 a technical question of fact on anything that Dr. Hoth
6 has presented, we perhaps could clear it up very
7 briefly. Otherwise we will move on. We'll carry on.
8 Larry?
9 DR. BROWN: When we say not available,
10 does that mean that the -- Do you know whether those
11 types of investigations were undertaken or we just
12 don't have information?
13 DR. HOTH: In some cases -- Probably, for
14 most of that data, the work is ongoing. In some
15 cases, we simply don't know.
16 CO-CHAIRMAN FAUCI: Yes, Ted?
17 DR. COOPER: Were all the safety data on
18 adult males? Were there women? Were there children?
19 You alluded to children, but I didn't follow whether
20 any of these involved anything except adult males.
21 DR. HOTH: To date, there have been no
22 trials that have started in children, and there have
