10 We shall proceed as follows: In order for us to
11 evaluate and recommend on these questions, we need to
12 have some background information.
13 So the way we have divided the meeting up
14 is to spend some time, not a lot of time, giving you
15 information that we feel will be necessary for the
16 decision and discussion process, and then open up the
17 meeting for discussion from the panel and then, if we
18 have time, also from anyone else who would like to
19 make any comments.
20 What we've done is divide it up into a
21 background information on the current status of the
22 therapeutic AIDS vaccine research programs, as well as
