9 drug in the armamentarium at least once a year. And,
10 hopefully, it will be once every six months.
11 So, especially in this lower CD4 group, it
12 becomes to me very problematic to start talking about,
13 quote, "large, simple trials" for extended periods of
14 time when all of this other stuff is going on.
15 DR. ELLENBERG: Well, actually, Larry, I'm
16 glad you raised that because our concept would be that
17 this trial would not interfere with those other
18 efforts at all, that people would take any drugs that
19 were appropriate. And that would include being in
20 trials of other experimental therapies that would be
21 appropriate.
