1 has just said, and that is: What are we going to do?
2 He made a very important point in my mind to stress
3 that we need to get something out of these trials
4 other than the clinical endpoints. A lot of the
5 science here can guide future vaccines.
6 So if you consider going into trials,
7 whether it's now or six months from now or a year from
8 now, I think that has to be a very integral part of
9 it.

13 DR. BROWN: I guess I am struck by the
14 fact that when we started up the discussion generally,
15 we sort of went in the direction of a bit of a policy
16 issue, and then we got even more specific in terms of:
17 What does science support and not support? It sort of
18 gets me as if we are transforming into that guidelines
19 group that was just referred to as opposed to overall
20 policy.
