2 all what's planned to open during the next three to
3 four months in pediatrics in terms of vaccine trials
4 and to explore with you for just a minute or two why
5 the pediatric population offers what many of us
6 believe to be a unique opportunity.

15 Let me start with just a generic statement
16 that Sam Katz actually makes every time he speaks to
17 a group about HIV vaccines or about vaccines in
18 general. Dr. Katz is really the senior vaccine expert
19 in the field of pediatrics in this country.
20 Sam Katz would say that historically
21 vaccine trials, not only in this country, but
22 throughout the world, are uniquely successful in
