I. A. The Minutes of the meeting of January 25, 1988 were presented for
discussion. They were unanimously approved without changes or
recommendations.
Dr. Mulshine distributed a memorandum from Ms. C. Brown recommending
substitutes for members who will be absent from the IRB meetings.
It was emphasized that members of the IRB are responsible for finding
a replacement for the IRB meeting. They should notify Ms. C. Brown
regarding who the replacement is. They should not however, ask
Ms. Brown to find this replacement. A memo from Robert Wittes
to Samuel Broder regarding COP protocol review at CTEP was
distributed, discussed and noted by the IRB. The memo from Dr.
James Mulshine to the Clinical and Branch Chiefs regarding the protocol
amendment forms was distributed to the sub-committee, discussed and noted.
