1. A. The minutes of the meeting of February 21, 1988 were presented for
discussion. There were some changes noted in the minutes of
March 21, 1988: 1) Page 7, stipulation 3, it is incorrect to
change ifosfamide to etoposide. The correct wording is VP-16 to
etoposide. 2) Stipulation 2, rather than "clarify the administration
of velban and ifofamide together", the investigators should state
the compatibility of the two agents in the same line. 3) On page
8, stipulation 2, change "clarify volume of fluid" to "clarify
volume, stability of the agent, and the amount of bicarbonate to
be added." The minutes of February 22, 1988 IRB meeting were
unanimously approved with the changes stated above.
B. The IRR recognizes the receipt of the resignation of Dr. Giselle
Sarosy of CTEP, from the Clinical Research Subpanel, and the IRB
appreciated the efforts of Or. Sarosy and CTEP with regard to this
committee.
