On Monday morning, however, it became clear that our expectations had been over-optimistic, so we continued preparing forms and putting together the application throughout the day on Monday, even through lunchtime. At 4:00 pm, the application was finally ready to be photocopied, which task I undertook myself. Had the photocopying taken a mere 15 minutes less time yesterday, we would have been able to deliver the original and required 24 copies to SPO by 5pm, and would not now be faced with this dilemna. Therefore I plead your indulgence to consider this application despite its delay of one day. Regrettably, the one-day delay was caused by circumstances beyond my control.
