Department of Health and Human Services Public Health Service, Grant Application
26 August 1993 p. 2 Duesberg is an outstanding virologist who received the California Scientist of the Year award. Recently he has been considered far-out because of his insistent denunciation of the general conclusion in regard to AIDS (which I share). But his willingness to do this experiment is important, he is an excellent scientist and the results could be important regardless of how they turn out. Sincerely yours, Daniel E. Koshland, Jr. DEK:bd
