If people have been "very slow to answer his (Duesberg's) science," it is because most of
-t have better things to do. Like working on an AIDS cure or vaccine for instance. It's
nly because I resent being accused of participating in censorship that I have wasted an
evening on this, and my secretary's time. You people should spend time talking to HIV
infected people, living with and dying of AIDS, as we do here in our city. You have
intellectual freedom to question what you want, a privilege of a free society. We listen
to you, assess what we have to say, reject your specious arguments and get on with our
work, which we believe in. But you do not have a monopoly on morality. And your
vxews can and do cause real harm and anguish to the sick. Our friends in the HIVinfected population are sophisticated and intelligent; but they represent others with less
access to kntowledge and more susceptibility to the poison you purvey. Come and talk
to these people, who know what HIV has done and is doing to their friends. For it is
they that you damage with your luxurious intellectual masturbation, not AIDS
