[Letter to Colleagues from Peter Duesberg]
declination of this paper demonstrates my personal discrimination, censorship, and bias and a general bias against Dr. Duesberg's views by the PROCEEDINGS. As Dr. Dawid pointed out in his declination letter of January 1991, the PROCEEDINGS has published two of Dr. Duesberg's papers on this subject and, indeed, his views are widely known because of those two publications. Consequently, declining the present paper -- for very good reasons, althou)h you and Dr. Duesberg disagree with the validity of those reasons - can hardly be construed as a plan to. t suppress Dr. Duesberg's basic thesis. I am always sorry when a paper must be declined; it seems unnecessary to shift from a 'scussion or it erer T? 11 point-of-view to unwarranted offensive attacks. Please feel free to convey the views in this letter to Dr. Duesberg: Inasmuch as I have not had any direct communication from him, I am continuing the correspondence to the Comunicating Member, as we do with other communicated papers.
