[Letter to Peter Salk from Jon Cohen]
TO: PETER SALK FROM: JON COHEN November 2, 1992 Peter, I read the revised manuscript and think the changes make it stronger (though I still feel something is missing without mention of the Desrosiers--and yes, Heeney--experiments). One question. On page 3, you refer to Shearer's work and say his patients are HIV-seronegative and/or HIV-DNA PCR-negative. This implies that there are patients who are PCR-negative and seropositive.
