Dear Mr. Cannady,
August 27, 1990, I requested the transcript from the AIDS vaccine
discussions held by the Vaccines and Related Biological Advisory
Committee on the afternoon of August 21, 1990. I specifically
asked for the MicroGeneSys presentations by Gale Smith and
Franklin Volvovitz and the Genentech presentation by Philip
Berman.
You promptly filled my request and I greatly appreciate that (FOI
90-28148). In my years of experience filing FOIAs, I cannot think
of a FOIA office at the federal, state, or city level that
operates as efficiently as yours. So it is with reservation that
I point out an error you made: You sent me more documents than I
requested. Because the reproduction fee was $44.40 and because my
request was for fewer than 50 pages and under the $10 waiver
amount, I ask that the entire fee be waived.
