Focus Areas Focus Areas Youth Programme Youth Programme Monday 14 August 2006 Title: Young adults living with HIV (relationships and sex) Title: Daily Youth Orientation and Planning Session Relationships and sex are issues for young people! Relationships and sex should not only be about problems because of their status, but also about fun, love and learning. This workshop can be a life tool on how to work out personal issues concerning this theme. The Toronto YouthForce and AIDS 2006 Youth Programme navigate youth delegates through the day's sessions and develop action plans. All youth delegates are encouraged to attend. Learn what's missing when we talk about the ABC approach for youth. This interactive play, modelled on traditional Indian street theatre, explores the quick spread of HIV/AIDS in this country and highlights the use of this popular technique in education and awareness particularly for marginalized populations within societies. Its satirical approach is aimed at encouraging individuals to critically reflect upon the link between social factors and the growing HIV/AIDS pandemic. This activity is in French and English.
