In line with the 2001 UNGASS Declaration, development
sectors and local government authorities have been
contributing increasingly to national AIDS responses. To
respond to the growing demands for accountability and
results, M&E frameworks for national AIDS responses need
to monitor progress and assess results of this multi-sectoral
and -level mobilisation. This session offers an open forum to
discuss current practice, and join a community of practice to
further strengthen country capacity in this important area.
