Lactic acidosis and severe hepatomegaly with steatosis,
including fatal cases, have been reported with the use
of nucleoside analogs alone or in combination with other
antiretrovirals. Redistribution/accumulation of body fat has
been observed in patients receiving antiretroviral therapy.
Until data become available describing the disposition of
VIREAD in patients with creatinine clearance <60 mL/min,
VIREAD should not be administered to these patients.
