GNP+ has adopted a Global Advocacy Agenda, committing its energy to: - expanding access to treatment and care; - ending stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS; - delivering on the greater involvement of people living with HIV/AIDS in HIV-related decision-making. GNP+ works in the 6 regions of the world: Africa, Asia/Pacific, Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean and North America. Each region has its own priorities and programs. The International Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS (ICW) ICW is an international network run by and for HIV positive women. ICW was founded in Amsterdam in 1992 in response to the desperate lack of support and information available to HIV positive women worldwide. ICW: - Reaches out to HIV positive women around the world - Unites HIV positive women around the issues that affect us all - Ensures that HIV positive women are visible and that all our voices are heard - Acts as an information resource - Challenges discrimination, stigma and abuses of HIV positive women's rights - Encourages self-empowerment and self-sufficiency The International Council of AIDS Service Organizations ICASO is the International Council of AIDS Service Organizations, a global network of non-governmental and community-based organizations. ICASO is composed of 5 secretariats in each geographical region, and a central secretariat in Canada. ICASO's mission is to mobilize communities and their organizations to participate in the response to HIV/AIDS; articulate and advocate the needs and concerns of communities and their organizations; ensure that CBOs, particularly those with fewer resources and within affected communities, are strengthened in their work to prevent HIV infection, and to provide treatment, care and support for people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS; promote the greater involvement of people living with, and affected by, HIV/AIDS in all aspects of prevention, treatment, care and support, and research; and promote human rights in the development and implementation of policies and programs responding to all aspects of HIV/AIDS.
