children a month, with a peak around holiday periods. Over half of the children seen in
the first two years of the clinic's operation were under 12, and over 300 were under five,
the youngest being just a few months old. Virtually none of them said their abuser was
a complete stranger, although several victims were too young to identify an assailant.
