The Global Network of
People Living with HIV/AIDS 'GNP+'
"To improve the quality of life"

GNP+

GNP+ is a global network for and of people living
with HIV/AIDS.
The overall aim of GNP+ is to improve the
quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS by:
* Lobbying: creating the opportunity to bring
the many voices of the epidemic to appropriate
and relevant platforms and lobbying for greater
involvement of people living with HIV/AIDS
* Linking: linking people with HIV/AIDS on all
levels with each other as well as with funders
and other organisations
* Sharing: creating the opportunity for people
living with HIV/AIDS to meet regularly at the
international and regional level to share
experiences, information and knowledge.
GNP+ works in the 5 regions of the world: Africa,
Asia/Pacific, Europe, Latin America/Caribbean
and North America. Each region has its own
priorities and programs.
GNP+ has the following global projects:
"Positive link" - a global electronic mail network
developing and supporting communication and
information exchange on the global, regional and
national levels
"Positive Voices" - a global speakers' bureau
bringing the voices of the epidemic to the various
and appropriate platforms

"Positive Info" - a global information and
resource centre
"Positive Development" - a global training
program supporting and developing the capacity
and skills of people living with HIV/AIDS on the
regional and national levels
"Conferences" - creating the opportunity for people
living with HIV/AIDS to meet at the global and
regional levels to share experiences and information
