ACCESS TO MEDIA CENTER AND EVENTS
* Registered Media: Accredited media participants will receive a press badge when chey arrive at the Conference.
The badges, which should be worn at all times, will be necesstry for access to the Media Center, press
conferences, and all Conference events.
* Non-Media Access to Media Center: Access to the Media Center is restricted to registered media. Non-media
conference attendees may request a special pass at the entrance to the Media Center, which will allow them
limited, short-term access.

* Pre-Conference: Reporrers seeking information before the Conference can contact: Denny Lee at
[phone] in New York or Michel Zbinden at [phone] in Lausanne, In addition, 1allI broadcast
media should contact Michel Zbinden prior to the conference regarding logistical arrangements.
* Conference: Press officers will be available at the Information Booth to handle reporters' requests. A broadcast
coordinator will be on hand to assist television and radio journalists with logistical needs.
EMBARGOES
* All abstracts - including those selected for official Conference news briefings - are embargoed until the time of
presentation, not the time of scheduled news briefings (unless otherwise announced).
REGISTRATION
* Members of the media are encouraged to tregister prior to the Conference, as space at the Conference is limited.
To receive proper accreditation, a Media Registration Form should be completed and sent to Congra Sweden AB,
which can be reached at [phone] In Scockholm.
ACCOMMODATIONS
* Hotel rooms reserved For the media will be assigned on a first-come, firstserve basis. Members of the media are
encouraged to book accommodations as soon as possible, as space is limited. The Accommodation Form
should be sent to AKM Travel AB, which can reached at *41 61 690 9411 in Basel, Swirasrland.
TRANSPORTATION
* Palecpo is located 5 kilometers from the cerre of Geneva, and 500 metres from the International Airport and
the Geneva Airport railway station. A special exit from one of Europe's major norrhlsouth mocorways leads
directly to the Palexpo and two direct public transport lines connect Palexpo to Geneva.

* Audio-taped recordings of Conference sessions will be available for purchase.
