A viewing area will be set up for reporters. * information Booth: There will be an Information Booxr in the Newsroom staffed with press officers to respond to reporters' requests for information, indiuding information on press conftrences and contact information for conferenccs speakers and official spokespeoplic. * Document Center: The Document Center will provide all official Conference press materials, as well as independent press materials from organisarions, including non-profit groups, universities, an;md companic4 involved in AIDS research. The Document Center will also be equippcd with photocopicrs, fax machines, printers and several computers with Inrternet access for use by registered media, * Broadcas Facilities: - Host Broadcaster - A host broadcaster and broadcast coordinator have been contracted to provide a fiul range of broadcast services, including booking of satellitc rinc, for the Conference. - Edit Rooms - Edit rmoms equipped with telephones, ISDN lines, and live feeds of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, PiIenaries and key track scmions will be available to television and radio journalists. - Interview Rooms - Several enclosed rooms wid- ttables and chairs will be available for interviews. Couferences - Oficial News Conferences - Official news conferences will be held twice a day - morning and mrid-day - to highlight dthe most important research and issues at the Conference.
