Transportation Services Conference Shuttle Bus System The Conference ground transportation system has been scheduled to allow delegates maximum access to the official Conference program. Due to the significant demands placed upon the local infrastructure by the Conference, a variety of methods - including SkyTrain (rapid transit), school buses, and motor coaches - will be employed to allow you to move around as efficiently as possible. Delegates should note that the hotel-to-venue shuttle service is available only for hotels beyond a three-block walk to the nearest Conference venue or SkyTrain station. Delegates who require transportation outside the hours offered by the Conference's resources should investigate the BC Transit system. Transit schedules and seven-day, unlimited use passes at a special rate of $14 (CAD) can be obtained at the BC Place Stadium on Level 2 during registration hours. For more personal transportation, taxis are easily hailed at any major hotel and outside Conference venues. The Conference Shuttle Bus system is organised into 15 routes. Please determine which route your hotel is on as early as possible, by asking your hotel staff, by consulting the Conference Pocket Guide, or by checking at the Shuttle Kiosks at the venues. (Schedules for the routes will be available at all three locations.) As several hotels may be served by a single shuttle stop, your hotel staff will also be able to direct you to the proper pick-up point.
