C onfer informa on- li once tion One way we've chosen to extend our reach to the outside world is through the Interrnet. Conference staff members are accessible via email and all Conference publications, tourism information, and general Conference information are contained in our World Wide Web site. We also maintain an email mailing list to provide on-line bulletins about new developments or to announce changes to the website. The website contains thetext and photos from each of our publications (including this newsletter). It also contains photographs of the city of Vancouver.and our Conference venues.And it provides links to tourism sites that tell you more about the Vancouver area as well as sites that describe Whistler, the BC Rockies, and other BC getaways.You can even get a listing of the golf courses in the region! Through our website you can leave your name and address for inclusion in our mailing list to receive Conference publications and updates.We also welcome suggestions and comments about our on-line services as we are always seeking to improve them. Making your mark at the 9.6 CO nfe r e nc e SPONSORSHIPS, EXHIBIT SPACE, AND SATELLITE MEETINGS OFFER MEANS TO - PARTICIPATE IN THE 96 CONFERENCE The XI International Conference on AIDS provides ample opportunity for groups, foundations, organisations, and companies to establish a presence in the time leading up to the Conference as well as on-site during the week of the Conference. In addition to our corporate sponsorship program, a busy, and well planned Exhibition Hall will provide space for both non-profit or NGO booths, as well as an impressive area for commercial and government exhibitors. Also, select satellite meetings will be facilitated and promoted as part of the XI International Conference on AIDS. Sponsorship Those interested in contributing to this non-profit event are encouraged to contact our Corporate Relations Manager to receive an information package or to discuss your specific needs. Commercial/Government Exhibits Commercial and government exhibitors are encouraged to get involved early to secure their place in the Exhibition Hall.This exhibition area will serve as the hub of the Conference when the program tracks are not in session. Surrounded by the poster areas and dotted with complimentary refreshment tables, the exhibit area will be configured for maximum comfort and maximum interaction of delegates and exhibit staff In keeping with the Conference theme, "One World, One Hope," the NGO space will be organised as a global village, with representation from each. continent of the world. While these booths will be offered for free, NGO's will be required to show proof of their non-profit status and to provide a refundable deposit.This deposit will be returned to the participating groups on-site only Only a limited number of these spaces can be made available, so groups from one country are encouraged to join together to apply for one space.
