Television Voice Booths Two voice booths are available for television broadcasters and need not be booked. Official News Conferences Level 0 Plenary Stage Official News Conferences are held from Monday, July 8 to Thursday, July II at 1I 1:30 on the same stage as the Plenary Sessions. Floor mics in the designated media area must be used for questions. Informal media briefings are held daily at 07:30 in the Media Restaurant and Lounge (Level 4, Orca Bay Grille), with the exception of Sunday July 8 when the briefing is held at 12:30. Hosted by a Conference Co-Chair, the briefing gives a contextual overview of the day's proceedings. Speakers in the Distinguished Lecture Series have been asked to meet the media in a brief, informal session immediately after their lecture.These sessions are held daily at 15:05 in the Port Room, Level R, Pan Pacific Hotel (beside the VTCC). Restaurant and Lounge Level 4 The most direct access to the Orca Bay Grille is from Gate 10 (North). From the foyer take the elevator to level 4. (See map on page 10). The Orca Bay Grille and Lounge is open to accredited media and delegates. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar service are available. Prices range from $3.75 - $7 (CAD) for breakfast; $3.50 - $10 (CAD) for lunch; and $3.50 - $10 (CAD) for dinner. Hours are: Sunday, July 7 12:00 - 18:00 Monday July 8 07:00 - 19:00 Tuesday July 9 07:00 - 19:00 Wednesday July 10 07:00 - 19:00 Thursday, July II 07:00 - 19:00 Media Room - Pan Pacific Hotel A secondary work room is available to media in the Port Room, Level R, Pan Pacific Hotel (immediately adjacent to the VTCC).The room is equipped with tables and chairs and some electrical outlets but does not have phones, fax or photocopying services.
