Gastown Step into Gastown and step back in time. Cobble stone streets, a steam clock and a wide variety of local shops offer the best in Canadian crafts and souvenirs. Gastown is easily accessible by the SeaBus from North Vancouver and is within walking distance of the VTCC. Several night clubs and bars liven up this heritage district after dark. The best place to be is Water Street from Richards to Columbia. Chinatown Vancouver is home to one of the largest Chinatowns in North America. The sidewalks are bustling with activity distinctive sights and smells and lively vendors. It's better to come by bus or on foot as parking is at a premium but the architecture and street life merit the added effort. The heart of the Chinese Community is Pender from Carrall to Gore, and Keefer from Main to Gore.
