CONFERENCE NEWSPAPER
A daily newspaper will provide delegates with coverage of the Conference. All program
changes will also be listed in the newspaper, which is available in the Registration Area
each morning free of charge.

ADJACENT TO REGISTRATION AREA
SPEAKERS' CENTRE
The Speakers' Centre is located adjacent to the Registration Desk. Speakers must report
to the Centre at least 24 hours prior to the time of their scheduled presentation (please
see Instructions to Speakers, page 36).
DEVELOPING COUNTRY DELEGA TES' CENTRE
A special Centre has been provided in the Europahal near the Registration Area for
delegates from developing countries and Eastern and Central Europe. This Centre will
be open the same hours as the Registration Desk: Saturday through Thursday from 08.00
- 20.00, and Friday from 08.00 - 14.00.
GROTE ZAAL AREA
PHIV LOUNGE
A lounge and resting area has been provided in a lounge on the ground floor in the
area near the Grote Zaal, specifically for use by delegates with HIV/AIDS. The lounge
is designated as a gathering place for people with HIV/AIDS. Information and referral
to HIV and other related services in Amsterdam will be provided.
RETREAT ROOM & NURSING FACILITIES
A Retreat Room has been provided next to the PHIV lounge for use by all delegates
in case of sickness or a need for rest. Basic medical and nursing services are available.
Individuals requiring care beyond routine medical attention will be evaluated and referred
to Amsterdam area hospitals.
FIRST AID POST
A First Aid Post is located in the "Secretariaatshal" for medical emergencies and accidents.

VIDEO PRESENTA TIONS
In Room IX and X will be continuously video presentations. Please check the program
schedule outside the room.
DELTAHAL
MEDIA CENTRE
The Media Centre is located in the Deltahal, equipped with press and broadcast equipment
and facilities. Only those delegates with press badges or accompanying a media representative with a press badge may enter the Deltahal. The Media Centre will be open
daily from 08.00 - 02.00.
