REGISTRATION INFORMATION
CONFERENCE VENUE
The Conference venue is the RAI International Exhibition and Congress Centre (the RAI
Centre), Europaplein, Amsterdam, The Netherlands,
telephone (31)- 20 - 546 69 90 (in case of emergency).
SA TELLITE REGISTRA TION DESKS AND VOUCHERS
Everyone participating in the Conference is very welcome to attend the Satellite Meetings.
As space is limited, Conference Delegates must obtain a voucher at the Satellite
Registration Desks for each session they wish to attend. The vouchers and background
information for a specific Satellite Meeting are only available on the day this Satellite
Meeting will take place on a first come, first served basis. The Satellite Registration
Desks are situated in the Secretariaatshal and are open from 10.00 until the Satellite
Meeting starts. For Satellite Meetings starting at 10.00, the desks will be open at 9.00.
BADGES
Official Conference badges are required for admittance to all Conference-related activities,
including all satellite sessions and exhibitions. In addition, you will find enclosed in the
Conference Bag a personal identification voucher which you may be requested to present
along with your Conference Badge to enter sessions.
CER TIFICA TE OF A TTENDA NCE
A Certificate of Attendance can be obtained from the Registration Desk as of Tuesday,
21 July, or earlier upon request. Please line up at the desk with your registration number.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
GETTING TO THE RAI CENTRE
FROM OUTSIDE AMSTERDAM:
*Public Transportation:
By train from the West of the Netherlands, directly to the RAI station.
By train from the North of the Netherlands to the Central Station and then by tram
4 to the RAI.
By train from the South and the East of the Netherlands to the Amstelstation and then
by Express Tram 51, direction Amstelveen, or bus 15 to the RAI.
*Car
The RAI Centre is located close to the A-10 motorway. Parking areas are available in
the immediate vicinity of the RAI Centre, for a charge of NLG 10,- per day.
FROM WITHIN AMSTERDAM
*Public Transportation
Express Tram number 51, tram line number 4, 12, 25 and buses number 15, 69, and
169 connect with RAI Europaplein. The stops for tram 4 and bus 15 are located opposite
the RAI Centre.
*Taxi
Taxis are available through the City of Amsterdam, and can also be ordered by porters
at the RAI Centre for return to your hotel.
