Methods: The essential elements of the study design should be described. For most studies, the following questions should be answered: 1) What criteria were used to select study subjects; 2) How were these subjects sampled; and 3) What important predictor and outcome variables were measured? Descriptive and analytic statistical tests should be mentioned briefly. Results: The main study results should be described. Ensure that the reader understands how all results were obtained by referring to the Methods section. A simple table or graph may be used, but it must be neat, drawn in black ink, and must fit within the lines. Appropriate statistics should be used to support inferences about the data. Conclusions: A concise statement of the main conclusions of the study should be stated at the end of the abstract.
