Procedures
Delegate Advance Registration
All registration and hotel accommodation requests for the VIII International
Conference on AIDS/Ill STD World
Congress must be submitted on the official Conference Registration Form and
the Hotel Accommodation Request
Form or a photocopy. In either case,
each individual registration must be on a
separate form. Please type or print
clearly all information, filling in all
blanks on the forms.
When your completed Conference Registration Form and full payment of registration fees have been received, you will
be sent your Conference Registration
Acknowledgement by CONGREX Holland BV.
When your completed Conference Hotel
Accommodation Form and hotel deposit
have been received, you will be sent your
hotel confirmation by the RAI Hotel
Service.
The Registration Acknowledgement will
indicate your current registration status,
while the hotel confirmation will indicate
the hotel in which you have been assigned housing. Be sure that you keep
the official Registration Acknowledgement, as you will need to present it
at the Conference Registration Desk,
along with personal photo identification,
to receive your registration packet. This
packet will contain the final program,
Abstract Volume, and your official registration badge. This badge is your ticket
to enter the Conference and must be
worn at all times during the Conference.
Individuals who lose their badges will be
required to re-register and pay a fee in
order to obtain a replacement badge.
Hotel accommodations cannot be guar-_
anteed for registrants whose official Registration and Hotel Accommodation

Forms are received after 1 June 1992. All

requests received after this date will be
processed on a space available basis
only, and room rates may be higher.
Payment of Registration Fees
Registration Fees must accompany all
Conference Registration Forms, and
must be paid in Dutch Guilders. Fees
may be paid in one of the following
ways:
Bank Transfer
Instruct your bank to transfer the appropriate fee in Dutch Guilders to AIDS
1992, bank account number
21.30.15.390, Bank Mees & Hope,
Herengracht, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The transfer must state your
name, affiliation, and country, and all
charges related to the transfer must be
prepaid by you.
Bank Check
Send one bank check per registration
form. Personal and company checks are
not accepted. All checks must be in
Dutch Guilders and made payable to
"VIII International Conference on AIDS/
III STD World Congress."
Credit Card
Registration fees may be paid by VISA,
American Express, or Mastercard/
Eurocard/Accesscard credit card. Simply
complete the credit card authorization
section of the Conference Registration
Form, making sure to supply all requested information.

Acceptable Methods of Sending
Registration
Please send all international communication via Air Mail. No Conference Registration and Hotel Accommodation Request Forms will be accepted by fax.
Press Advance Registration
Representatives of the news media must
submit the official Conference
Registration Form to receive press
credentials.
Be sure to check the "Press" box on the
Registration Form and send the completed Form to CONGREX Holland BV
at the address on page 19. Proof of accreditation, consisting of a copy of your
press credentials or a letter of verification
on press organization stationery, must accompany the registration. Press representatives requiring hotel accommodations
must also fully complete and mail the Hotel Accommodation Request Form.
There is no registration fee for accredited
media representatives. A registrant in this
category is entitled to admission to all sessions and exhibits and a final program.
The Abstract Volume may be purchased
on-site in the press room for 145 Dutch
Guilders.
Exhibitor Advance Registration
The Conference has designated space for
the display of materials by both commercial and non-profit exhibitors. A description of all exhibiting organizations will be
provided to all Conference participants.
Commercial organizations interested in
purchasing exhibition booths should
mark the Exhibitor box on the Registration Form and send it to BillCom Exposition and Conference Group at the address
