With þair crist, þat wonders sal wirke, And þan sal þai distroie haly kyrke. Line 4472 Some clerkes says, als þe glose telles, Þat Gog and Magog es noght elles Bot þe host of onticrist [þat] sal come Sodanly ogayn þe day of dome, Line 4476 And ogayne haly kyrk werray For to distroye it if þai may. Þe glose of þe buke says alswa Þat by Gog er understanden alle þa Line 4480 Thurgh whilk þe devel, our mast enemy, Sal cristen men pursue prively. By Magog may þas understanden be Thurgh wham openly pursue sal he, Line 4484 Or þas er understanden þar-by, Þat in anticrist tyme first pryvely And aftirward openly, sal wyrk Wykkedness ogayne haly kyrk. Line 4488 Gog es als mykel at say, als covert, And Magog es noght elles bot als apert. Þir twa prophetes, als says som, Ennok and Hely byfor sal com, Line 4492 Bytwene þe tyme of þe commyng privé Of anticrist, when he sal born be, And þe tyme of his oppen commyng, Þat sal be thurgh open prechyng Line 4496 And thurgh open parsecucion, Þat he sal do til diverse nacion. Bytwen þa tymes þa prophetes twa On sere partes sal preche swa, Line 4500 Þat thurgh þair prechyng þai sal drawe And convert þe Iewes til cristen lawe, For þus spekes þe prophete Malachy, In a boke of þe prophecy: Line 4504 Convertent corda patrum in filios. He says "þai sal turne thurgh Goddes myght Þe fadirs hertes intil þe sons right." Line 4508
