                                  Echeon askyd, what he myght bee,

                                  They sawe neuer so semelye a knyght.
                                
                                  ¶ Then seyde the kynge to þe sowdan:

                                  ¶ Brynge forthe,' he seyde, 'the gyawnt,'

                                  He was armed nobullye:
                                
                                  Euery man of hym had farlye.
                                
                                  Hys body was boþe grete and longe:
