P.] was wiþ hym, ande hym delyuerde of alle hise tribulaciones, ande gafe hym grace ande wisdome in Pharaos sighte, þo kenge of Egipte; ande made hym guuernoure ande prouoste ouer Egipte ande ouer alle hise howse. [verse 11] Bot soþely þer kome þanne a [an S.P.] hungur in alle Egipte ande Canaan [ande] [S.P.D.] grete tribulacyone; ande ȝoure fadres fonde no mete. [verse 12] Whanne Iacob harde þat whete was in Egipte, he sende firste oure fadres. [verse 13] Ande þe [in þe S.P.D.] secunde sonde he [Ioseph S.P.D.] was knowen, Ioseph, of hise breþer, ande he schewed his kynreden vnto Pharao.
