[ouer Iambe leue.] Line 13,752 So harde strokes þe Bretons gaf, Þe Romayns route al ouer-haf, Þat þe Romains, wold ho, [wild þei.] [Petyt folio 79b:2] ne wolde, fflede vnto þe Egle of golde. Line 13,756 (Egle ys ern [Herne.] on Englische roun; Þat was þe Romayns gunphanoun.) [Gomfaynoun.] Þere þey fond þe Emperour, & of al Rome þer was þe flour.
