" We haue now al þis fyue ȝer . " Lyued in lechours [vsed rioterie.] [Petyt folio 68b:1] mester, 11,576 " & [þat.] þorow rest & such soiour " Haue we lorn gret [haf we lost grete.] honour. " Þat noman wakynge [wakand on.] vs kept; 11,580 " But, þanked be God [.I. þank god.] & oure lady, " Now ar we wakned a party; [un petit, Wace, l. 11,032.] " Som grace is ronne in Romayns herte [ronen in þe romens þouht.] " Þat þey chalange vs so smerte, [chalenge on vs souht.] 11,584 " Vs to bynime oure landes [for to haf our londes.] & fees, " & oure conqueste of [all our conquest in.] oþer contres.
