Þer haue men bokes of al his lyf, . Þer are his merueilles red ful ryf; [kid full rife.] Line 10,968 Þat we of hym here alle rede, Þere were þey writen ilka dede. Þyse grete bokes so faire langage, . Right as he dide, hym for to alose; Line 10,976 In prose al of hym ys writen, Þe bettere til vnderstande & wyten. [ll. 10,977-10,978. The Petyt MS. leaves out this line.]
