After þe kynges tyme [þis hyng.] Condage, Ryual his sone tok [held.] þe heritage. Þre dayes in his [tyme] reyned blod— Y ne wot why, ne vndestod,— Line 2624 & wox so mykel mynde of flyes, Men deide by gates [bi strete.] & by styes: Alle men hadde þerof gret drede Tyl hit sesede & ouer ȝede. ¶ Gargustius Rex.

After þe kynges tyme Ryual, Gargustius [Gurgustius, P. and Wace.] his sone had al; After þis [þis, P. his sone, Lam.] Cargustius, Regned his sone CYCYLLIUS; [Rex] Line 2632 & after þe kyng Cycilly, Was Lago kyng, his cosyn ney; [kyng cosyn gurgusti.] [Rex] After Lago was Kynmar [Rimar, Wace, p. 102, l. 2184: Kinmarcus, Geoffrey.] kyng, [Rex] Cysillies sone, & had þe þynge. Line 2636 After Kynmare regned þan Hys sone, þat highte Garbodian. [Gorbodian (Gorbodiabo, Wace.)] [Rex] Garbodyan [Gorbodian (Gorbodiabo, Wace.)] had two sones, fful enemys, þat ȝit men [of.] mones; Line 2640 Þe eldest he hight sire fferreus, Þat oþer men calde Porreus; Might þer neuere pes be þeym bytwene In non acord, bot euere tene.
