[75] Oure swete lord god of heuen / that no man wol perisshe / but wol that we come alle to the knewleche of him / and to the blisful liff that is perdurable / [76] amonesteth vs bi the prophete Ierome that seith in this wise / [¶ Jerome . state super vias . &c.] [77] stondith vppon the weyes and seeth and axeth of olde pathes / that is to seie [MS Arch.
