[pereyel.] Withynne him-sylff he dempte of equite Line 400 Of paynym blood the gret effusioun [greete.] Caused in soth thoruh ther Iniquite [Causyd.] Perpetuely ther dampnacioun, [perpetuelly.] And how in helle was no redempcioun; And of cristene thouhte, of verray trouthe, [he thoughte. veray.] Line 405 To seen such slauhtre it was to gret a routhe.
