"Her me, dohter! Bihald, & buh þin eare, & forȝet ti folc & tine fader huſ."Nim ȝeme hwat euch word beo ſunderliche to ſeggen.
" Iher me, dohter,"he seið.
"Dohter"he clepeð hire, for-þi þat ha underſtonde, þat he hire liues luue luueliche leareð, aſe fader ah hiſ dohter; & heo him, aſe fader, þe bliðeluker luſtni.
"Iher me, [col. 2] deore dohter:"þat iſ, ȝeorne lustne me wið earen of þin heaued.
"& bihald": þat iſ, opene, to vnder-ſtonde, þe ehne of þin heorte.
"And bei þin eare": þat iſ, beo buhſum to mi lare.
` Hwat iſ [nu þis lare] þat tu nimeſt ſe deopliche, & leares me ſe ȝeorne ? ` low, þiſ:
