þe disciple axiþ. what maner fourme stiȝe [steie U.] he up?

þe maistir answeriþ. Al to þe [þe f. U,] cloudes in þe same fourme þat he was bifore his passioun, & whane þe cloudes hadden take him up, he was wiþ aungels in þe briȝtnesse þat þe þre aposteles hadde seen him bifore in þe moun∣teyn [mount U.] of thabor.

þe disciple axiþ. whi steiȝe he not up anoon as he roos fro deeþ to lijf?

þe maistir answereþ. For alle his disciples [disciples f. U.] schulden be ful of good bileeue, whilis þei knewen him wiþ twelue aperinges & oþer, [eiþer U.] while [whiles U.] he eete & [U, S. 189] dranke wiþ hem.

þe disciple axiþ. what is þis to seie: crist sittiþ on þe riȝt side of þe fadir?

þe maistir answereþ. Manheed to reste in þe ioye of þe godhede.

þe disciple axiþ. In what wise preieþ he for us to þe fadir?

þe maistir answeriþ. In schewynge euermore his passioun.
