They sayn eke fruyt or grape in tre or vyne With erthen pottis thus a man may kepe: [ 360] This fruyt in hem suspended to reclyne, And wrie hem that noon ayer vppon hem shyne; So beth they saaf. Eke appules brought a slepe In gips [gipso.] , to longe abide and neuere wepe.
